—Empowered Ascent: Hike Mount Inez with womenPEAKING
Saturday, March 21, 10 am for an inspiring hike up Mount Inez

Come celebrate the first day of Spring with womenPEAKING Podcast hosts Michelle Maron and Loree Burns. Embark on an empowering hike up the newly opened Champlain Area Trails trail on Mount Inez, dedicated to the legendary women’s suffrage advocate, Inez Milholland. This 3.3-mile out-and-back adventure winds through beautiful forested switchbacks, culminating with sweeping summit views that inspire. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, you’ll connect with an inclusive community passionate about women’s stories and outdoor adventure. If snow lingers, snowshoes are encouraged. All are welcome, bring your curiosity, your voice, and your spirit of exploration! This is considered a moderate-to-difficult hike with 600 feet of elevation gain.

Women Peaking: Friends Climbing Through Midlife
Tuesday, March 31, 7 pm
Suggested donation $5

Spend an evening with Westport neighbors Michelle Maron and Loree Burns as they share the ups and downs of starting two new and somewhat frightening things (mountain climbing and podcasting) at the very moment the world suggests that, as middle-aged women, they should be fading out. Their new podcast explores friendship, midlife, the healing powers of nature and, to the surprise of both hosts, attempting to climb all 46 Adirondack high peaks. The first season can be found on womenPEAKING.com, Spotify or Apple podcasts. We hope you listen and join us too!

—Are You Meno-Curious?
Join us Saturday, May 16
Camp Dudley, Westport, NY

Enough with the silence. Enough with the shame. Menopause isn’t something to survive alone, it’s a stage to navigate together, out loud, and with support. Meno-Curious? is how that change begins.

Meno-Curious? is designed to educate, empower, and connect women in -or- approaching perimenopause and menopause. We’re playful in tone, but grounded in expert knowledge.

This summit offers a much-needed space for education, connection, relief, and laughter.

Early bird registration starts at $39 and opens on April 1. There will be a limited number of scholarships and no-cost/volunteer admissions available as well; contact the organizer, Jen Williams directly for these. Attendance will be capped at 60 to preserve a supportive, intimate environment.

The agenda includes:

  • A multidisciplinary expert panel on perimenopause symptoms, treatment options, mental health, and sexual health

  • Small-group workshops on nutrition, self-care, and genitourinary system changes every woman should know about

  • Somatics for balancing the nervous system, easing hot flashes, and supporting pelvic floor health

  • A Community Café featuring Green Goddess Natural Market & Cafe, local women-owned businesses, and wellness resources
